The "Principles of adult mentoring scale" includes a scale for self-assessment of mentor competencies and an explanation of specific behaviors required for effective mentoring practice. If you have functioned as a mentor, your answers should be based on yourpast (and, if applicable, current) mentoring experience. If you have very little or noactual experience as a mentor of adults, your answers should be based on how youwould probably interact at this time with a mentee. Answer all of the statements, then refer to the instructions for scoring and interpreting located at the end of the scale
The "Journey of the principles of the adult mentoring inventory" includes valuable insights into the competencies of a 'complete mentor'.

Facilitate problem-solving discussions for challenges mentees face while implementing their plans.
